1. Superbowl: rooting for the team with the best food

    Amy and I decided to have a creole/cajun theme to cheer on the Saints in the Superbowl. She made Dirty Rice and I made a King Cake for dessert.

    We pulled recipes from Epicurious:

    Dirty Rice with Okra

    King’s Cake: Straight from the New Orleans Carnival tradition.

    Add in a frosty beverage and it was a prime Sunday evening.

    I’m interested to hear who else had some awsome cajun food last night.
