1. Road trip: Memphis

I took a break this week - headed down 57 to visit some buds in Memphis.

Memphis… man, they MEAN IT down in Memphis. I’ve never seen a place that was more… solid, and gritty, and real.

I saw a lot of things there, but here are just a few photos. The trolleys there, old-school. A cool delivery bike. Beale Street, like Vegas but with a soul. Several photos here from a shop with an antique display - not for sale, but very intriguing. Pearl’s Oyster House, and some chargrilled oysters. Tasty.

And I leave you with Sun Records, just after sunset. Found it by accident, but it was on my agenda anyway. This is where it all began, folks. A LOT of history in that place.

    Great road trip for sure.
